The Junior Board is a group of young professionals and students who fundraise, spread awareness, establish chapters on college campuses, and lead FEIH's health education initiative.
Jordan Elkin - Co-President
Jordan Elkin is a J.D. Candidate at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. He graduated with distinction from the University of Michigan in May 2014 with dual degrees in Political Science and Asian Languages & Cultures. Following graduation, he worked as an Analyst in the Morgan Stanley Human Resources department for two years. Jordan speaks Mandarin Chinese and Spanish with professional proficiency.
Maggie McGuire - Co-President
Maggie McGuire is an analyst in the Corporate Philanthropy department of Global Public Affairs, based in New York City. Maggie joined Citi in the summer of 2011 as an intern for the Corporate Philanthropy department. She went on to intern for three consecutive summers and joined full time in August of 2014. Maggie has an Honors BA in Psychology and a BA in Spanish from the University of Michigan. She received University Honors all eight semesters and received a Student Recognition Award in Spanish. Maggie is a native New Yorker and a serious travel enthusiast.
Rebecca Blake Chaikin - Treasurer
Rebecca Blake Chaikin is a restructuring associate with Kirkland & Ellis LLP and a graduate of the New York University School of Law, where she served as an Executive Editor at the Law Review. Rebecca is a life-long New Yorker who, as an alumna of NYC public schools, is dedicated to improving public education and is excited to help bring quality educational facilities to Honduras.
Michael Held - Director of Health Education
Michael Held was raised in Chappaqua, New York and he graduated from Horace Greeley High school in 2010. Michael then moved to Nashville, Tennessee where he graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2014 Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Spanish. He is now living in Boston attending Tufts University School of Medicine as a joint degree candidate pursuing both an M.D. and an M.B.A. in healthcare management.
Vanessa Cenuser - Secretary
Vanessa Cenuser graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 2006 and obtained her Master’s in Public Administration from Farleigh Dickinson in 2008. She currently works for an investment bank boutique, Greensledge Capital Markets. Vanessa, whose mother is Honduran, grew up making trips to Honduras each summer. Vanessa is fluent in Spanish and an avid traveler who has previously volunteered in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe at an AID’s orphanage center.
David Berman - Director of Campus Outreach
David Berman graduated Summa Cum Laude from Syracuse University in May 2016 with a major in Public Relations. David is starting Fordham Law School in the Fall 2016 and will graduate in May 2019. David is a native New Yorker and an avid New York Sports fan.
Jessie Cohen - Social media Manager
Jessie Cohen was raised in south Florida and attended the University of Florida, where she graduated in 2013 with a degree in both English and advertising and a minor in business administration. Jessie migrated north to take a job at Weber Shandwick, a public relations firm in New York City, and has since entered the tech industry as a Digital Strategy Manager.
Chase Brantley - Director of Fundraising
Chase Brantley is an analyst in the restructuring group at Alvarez and Marsal. Prior to that he held several financial and merchandise planning roles at Macys, Inc. Chase graduated from the University Of Arizona Eller College Of Management with a B.S. in Finance.
Josh Saccurato - Fundraising Committee
Josh Saccurato is a rising 2L at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Josh graduated from Binghamton University with a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Law, while also captain of their Division I Swim Team. Prior to attending law school, he worked for 2 years as a paralegal at a boutique law firm handling commercial litigation. He currently interns at The Loan Syndications and Trading Association.
Andrew Lang - Fundraising Committee
Andrew Lang graduated with honors from the University of Michigan in April 2016 with a degree in Economics. He currently works as an Analyst in the Debt Capital Markets group of SMBC Nikko Securities. Andrew previously volunteered for Let's Get Ready, a non-profit organization that provides low-income high school students with free SAT preparation.
